launch of Klorane
In the Southwest of France, Pierre Fabre, driven by his passion for plants and the belief in their health and beauty benefits, created the Klorane brand. The concept of Pure Botanical Care was born.
1966
LAUNCH OF SHAMPOO WITH CHAMOMILE FOR BLOND HAIR

Launch of the Cornflower range
When uncovering the soothing and softening benefits of the Cornflower, Klorane took an interest in sensitive eyes with the launch of Make-up Remover with soothing Cornflower.

THE ORIGINAL DRY SHAMPOO
Klorane developed the 1st Dry shampoo on the market intended for new mothers in hospitals who'd just given birth. Now, 1 is sold every 11 seconds around the world and Klorane has become the most awarded Dry shampoo ever.

Launch of Shampoo with Oat milk
First launch based on a new concept of "plant milk", which has been regularly used in the market ever since.

2012
GREAT GREEN WALL PROJECT
The launch of Klorane's Desert date collection kicked off the foundation's involvement in the Great Green Wall project. This project's objective was to halt the desertification of the Sahara-Sahel region.

BUDDING BOTANIST GRANT PROGRAM
Designed to further the mission of the Klorane Botanical Foundation, the Budding Botanist Grant Program was created to help our youngest citizens learn about plants, explore their world, and inspire them to take care of the life they discover in their local ecosystem.
