where it's from
Sustainably sourced from the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil and harvested by hand after the fruit has ripened and fallen to the ground, naturally. The seeds are removed from the pulp, left to dry in the sun and then cold-pressed to create the rich, organic Cupuaçu butter.
how it works
nourishing and repairing
Organic Cupuaçu butter is proven to be 1.5x more nourishing and 1.4x more repairing than Shea Butter1 thanks to its unique composition of rich fatty acids, including Omega-6 and 9.
The collection deeply nourishes and repairs very dry, damaged hair and is ideal to tame frizzy, wavy or curly hair. It weightlessly provides essential nutrients to boost hair strength and shine. Hair is stronger and easier to style.

To preserve and protect the botanical heritage of the Cupuaçu fruit, the Foundation has partnered with the Federal University in Brazil, to bring together two communities to transfer environmental protection and sustainable tree farming skills. Over 3000 trees, and counting, have been planted along with new plants and fruits, strengthening the communities economies. The project was recognized by UNESCO as a prime example of education for sustainable development and is an example of one of the many environmental commitments the Foundation has around the world.
